Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the GruvXpress app and website. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

1. The service

GruvXpress is a community house music streaming service offering a curated 24/7 audio stream, live chat, song requests, leaderboards, and community rewards. Some features require a paid subscription tier.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate registration details and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to subscribe.

3. Subscriptions and billing

• Paid tiers are Supporter (R20/month), Insider (R50/month) and VIP (R100/month), billed in South African Rand (ZAR).
• Subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically until cancelled.
• Payments are processed securely by Paystack. By subscribing you also agree to Paystack’s terms.
• You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops the next renewal and your tier remains active until the end of the current paid period. See our Refund Policy.
• We may change tier pricing or benefits with reasonable notice; changes do not affect the period you have already paid for.

4. Donations

One-time donations support the station and DJs. Donations are voluntary, do not grant subscription benefits, and are non-refundable except as set out in the Refund Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: post unlawful, hateful, harassing or spam content in chat; attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service; or rebroadcast, record or redistribute the audio stream. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

6. Content and intellectual property

All music is streamed under the rights held by GruvXpress and its partners and is for personal, non-commercial listening only. The GruvXpress name, app and branding remain our property. Messages you post in chat remain yours, but you grant us a licence to display them within the service.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted streaming or that the service will always be available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service.

8. Termination

You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access where these terms are breached or where required by law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
