Refund Policy

We want you to enjoy GruvXpress. This policy explains how subscriptions, cancellations and refunds work. It applies to all payments processed through Paystack.
1. Subscriptions are billed monthly
Paid tiers (Supporter R20, Insider R50, VIP R100) are recurring monthly subscriptions in South African Rand (ZAR). Each payment covers one month of access to that tier’s benefits.
2. Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel at any time from the app or by emailing us. When you cancel:
- Your subscription will not renew for the next month.
- Your tier benefits remain active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- You are not charged again after cancellation.
3. Refunds on subscriptions
Because access is granted immediately, monthly subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started, and we do not provide partial refunds for unused days of a current month. However, we will issue a full refund where:
- You were charged in error or charged more than once for the same period (a duplicate charge); or
- A technical fault on our side prevented you from accessing the service you paid for and we were unable to resolve it.
4. Donations
One-time donations are voluntary contributions and are non-refundable, except in the case of a clear duplicate or erroneous charge.
5. How to request a refund
- Email support@gruvxpress.com within 14 days of the charge.
- Include the email on your account and the Paystack transaction reference (from your payment confirmation).
- We will review and respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via Paystack, typically within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
6. Your statutory rights
This policy does not limit any rights you may have under the South African Consumer Protection Act.
